Button Town Bay

Button Town Bay is a small realm just south of Charlestown in the region of Warmland. In the center of the area resides the mystical HTML Tower. South of the realm is the Kingdom of Hammer Island. The realm is mostly wetlands, but some human inhabitants have made their home on the north side of the Wetlands, living in the periphery of the much larger Charlestown. The collection of houses is called Button Town, hence the name of the whole realm.

It's no paradise, but the people survive from day to day, while fending for themselves against the birdfolk of the Perch, a small dorp balancing on wooden poles, sunk deep into the Wetlands. Having to defend themselves from aerial attacks, the houses and gardens of Button Town have raised poles holding large nets in place above the village. There are also watchtowers all along the border of the Wetlands, to keep guard and oversee the movement of the birdfolk.

In the middle of the wetlands there is a dryer area where the humans have established a footbridge for faster travel between Button Town and the waterway to Hammer Island. It's at the south landing of this footbridge that HTML Tower looms over the travelers passing by. Two grumpy HTML Wizards are said to reside inside the tower, though they are seldom seen. The young folks of both Button Town and the Perch try to dare each other to sneak up on the tower to provoke a reaction from the wizards.
